Eps Honda Civic Left Righ. Hi i had a problem in the the steerling rack so i changed it and put a 2nd hand rack the rack was working good but was not returning to center have to bring it manually try evrything even change it to another rack and the same problem. The contact stated while reversing, there was an abnormal noise coming from the steering wheel.

There was a tsb software update for the eps in 2017. The eps system has two levels of faults. Many owners of a newer honda civic or accord have had problems with diagnosing what it means when the eps light lights up suddenly on the dash.
